Traditional motifs are laser-cut from khaddar and applied to the shirt surface, the negative space of the laser cut as much a part of the design as the solid motif. A screen-printed RASTAH logo on a khaddar patch marks the chest. The back carries a full screen-print artwork composition.

Acid wash terracotta is a specific decision — it resists the safe neutrals and the obvious brights, sitting in the register of earth and brick and old plaster.
